Gathering is at the heart of business operations in the netprice Group, which launched the first Internet system of group buying in Japan where the price reduces progressively as the number of item purchasers increases. With our product sourcing network encompassing manufacturers and suppliers across numerous domains, along with our sales channel alliances with a broad range of influential partner media including TV/radio programs, magazines and online media, we have a unique advantage in online distribution.
We provide the service called “Brandear”, which leads the secondary market on the Internet, as well as an auction marketing business through various auction sites and other channels.

One of the main attractions of the Internet is its ability to connect with the entire world. Focusing on this particular feature, we offer popular overseas items to consumers in Japan. We launched the sekaimon cross-border shopping service in December 2007 on the basis of our partnership with eBay Inc., the world’s largest online marketplace operator. We also have a subsidiary and an office in Silicon Valley in the United States to actively boost alliances for overseas-related business operations.
We established tenso.com Inc. on July 1, 2008 with the objective of developing an environment in which Japanese items are readily available to overseas consumers on the Internet, thereby providing Japanese firms with the opportunity of entering foreign markets and creating a truly borderless environment for the distribution of Japanese products. In line with our slogan, "“Deliver items from Japan, deliver items to the World." we will be actively expanding this business in the future.
Blogs, social networking services (SNS) and other consumer-generated media (CGM) through which individuals disseminate information are becoming increasingly influential. In the domain of eCommerce, individual abilities to market products are expected to play a key role. Our drop shipping business handles products promoted by individuals and provides a shopping system that covers payment, delivery and shopping basket features. As of the end of August 2007, there are already more than 180,000 stores. The personal sales network is growing at a tremendous pace.
